We are proud to say that we are completely delivering all of our elective services via a green pathway.
We have changed our infrastructure, policies and procedures for patients to undergo their major elective surgery in a completely cold green site!
We have also undertaken a local risk assessment in the green zone to downgrade the PPE requirements which has done wonders for staff morale, comfort, communication and patient flow!
The team are really enjoying operating again and it is great that we are able to deliver a cold elective service on a completely green pathway, keeping patients safe from COVID19 whilst ensuring they get their procedure, at the same time as running a yellow pathway on a different part of the site to run our trauma, acute and non green pathway work.
