The annual publication is a showcase of innovative work and improvements that have been made by CWP services to ensure the Trust delivers high quality care.
Its aim is to share best practice approaches by facilitating communication and integration across CWP and beyond.
The Big Book of Best Practice 2016/17 contains 40 case studies from across CWP's broad range of services.
This year's book - the fourth of its kind - was launched at the Trust's annual Best Practice exhibition event, which saw over 200 patients, staff, partners and members of the public attend.
Since the Trust's first publication (2013//14), the book has been growing in profile and influence, and now receives over 100 submissions from across all services and localities hoping to be included in each edition.
This has resulted in the book now featuring a 'highly commended' section for those case studies not quite able to be included.
Each year the Big Book of Best Practice is available both in print and online. It is shared widely with local and national partners.
The Big Book of Best Practice is inspired by the Trust’s Zero Harm campaign.
Zero Harm’s key message is ‘Stop. Think. Listen’, which involves supporting everyone to deliver the best care possible, as safely as possible to reduce avoidable harm.
