What have we changed?
Changing the experience of Admission– Introducing Psychological Interventions to recovery and understanding. Creation of a new relaxation room on wards.
How does it benefit Service Users and / or staff
By creating a new relaxation room, providing a safe, calm space filled with Sensory Toys, bubble tubes weighted blankets and a diffuser for elevating mood, reducing stress and anxiety.
Why we are proud of it
The reaction of patients and the change in observed behaviours has been amazing. With patients regularly requesting to use the room.
