Two Cumbrian NHS Trusts have joined up to produce a magazine that celebrates the hard work of health professionals in the county.

Trust Talk, the quarterly magazine, has been produced by Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) for several years as a way of showcasing news from their services.

The magazine will now be a joint effort with North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust (NCUH) as they work closer together as one health system.

Stephen Eames, Chief Executive of CPFT and NCUH, said: “There is so much fantastic work happening with health services in Cumbria and it’s so important to shout about it. I’m really pleased to launch the first joint Trust Talk which is full of examples of how joint working has led to improvements in patient care. “Our staff work incredibly hard day in, day out, and Trust Talk magazine is one way that we can say thank you. We have some very innovative work happening in Cumbria that we are proud to shout about and Trust Talk allows us to do just that.”

The latest edition, which is aimed at staff, patients and the public, features advice on staying well this winter and information to explain the future of health and care services as well as lots of good news stories from staff and patients.
