During carers week, 5-11 June 2023 we interviewed Jane Tibble, our Triangle of Care Coordinator @Southern_NHSFT, Ben Townsend, a carer support worker with the community mental health team and Sandra, a carer who Ben has been supporting.
Such a great conversation about the role of a carer, and how our carer support workers can help them in so many ways from signposting, advice and guidance, but much much more than that - developing a relationship of trust and encouraging them to have courage and empower themselves to take more control over their situations.
