This is something I wanted to leave behind for the next student so that they had something to go through if they were ever stuck in clinic.
This would take the pressure slightly off the practice nurse and enable the student nurse to work more autonomously.
I created a 'student nurse guide to clinics' list which includes:
Hypertension clinics, asthma clinics and diabetes clinics. It is something to quick and simple to create and makes a huge difference to student nurses out there.
I recently discovered the next student after me is now using this checklist that my mentor printed for her and she has found it very useful.
