The Respiratory Investigations Department at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust has set up a drive through lung function service over two sites across the East Anglia Region, one at Hinchingbrooke Hospital and one at Peterborough City Hospital.
This service provides our most vulnerable patients with the peace of mind that we can monitor their airway disease without having to directly come in to a hospital.
We can also swab for covid 19 and check for airway inflammation using FENO (Fractional Inhaled Nitric Oxide) monitoring at the same visit if required.
The service has had fantastic feedback from our patients, our team, our local CCG and primary care providers and by doing so we have been able to continue provide safe and effective patient care.
