We will ensure that the voice of the child is heard in order to improve services for children who attend our admission ward, paediatric unit, and ED. We will do this by piloting our little voices programme where we have partnered with a local
Primary school to carry out a ‘little steps’ visit which is based on the 15 steps observational tool.
We will also work with the the Little Journey App provider to develop bespoke modules for Walsall seeking to reduce Pere-admission/attendance anxiety.
