My pledge was to provide comfort bags which were originally named bereavment bags for children who experience loss of a loved one in the hospital at Lincoln and then the project to be up and running on all sites.

I appealed to staff the general public, and churches for people to make bags and donate items for the bags after first sourcing one bag and providing some basics myself.

The development of the project is ongoing and it’s begining to develop at Pilgrim and Grantham hospitals.

I continue to source items and bags by raising awareness.

Also I am continuing to promote the bags at this present time, but where they have been used they are a great success.
