Patient Experience Actions
Happy staff = Happy patients. You don’t need to be good at equations to understand this. Add to this the fact that many healthcare employees spend much of their time at work; sometimes more time that they spend with their families. Therefore should we not have a moral obligation to make the workplace a ‘great place’ to be? Well-being goes far beyond ‘wellness’. It’s an intricate mix of psychological, social, physical aspects of everyone’s working lives. Let us all strive to make our workplaces somewhere that is emotionally and psychologically healthy. Care and compassion begin at home.
