Following the international cyber attack work of staff at Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) has been celebrated with a special edition of Trust Talk magazine.

Teams across the Trust worked around the clock to minimise disruption to patients and quickly get systems back up and running.

Claire Molloy, Chief Executive at CPFT, commented: “The international cyberattack gave us an unexpected challenge over the last week but thanks to the hard work of so many once again, the impact on patients has been kept to a minimum. It’s at times like this that the Cumbrian spirit brings us all together and I’ve been overwhelmed by stories of teams and individuals going the extra mile. We’ve received countless messages sharing support, thanks and pride in our NHS. These are messages I’d like to echo – our staff should all feel proud of their hard work, quick decisions and dedication.”

To celebrate all of the #NHSHeroes, CPFT have put together a special edition of their magazine, Trust Talk.

The Trust Talk Cyber Special praises the way all teams rose to the challenge and highlights an overwhelming sense of pride in Cumbria and the NHS.
